After having a Band Literature and Materials class this past semester; and having a listening log assignment where I listened to 70 works of all grades of SCBDA’s concert festival list and marches, I have decided to keep with it. I want to have almost an online “log” or “directory” of classical music that interests me and works that I have played, conducted or would like to play. I also will put some pedogagical posts and other things I find interesting the the world of music education. Enjoy

About Me:

I am currently a music education major at the University of South Carolina and I am studying the clarinet. My immediate goal is to teach high school.I have taught colorguard for three years at Dreher High School in Columbia SC as well as one year with the Westwood High School Marching Band as a woodwind and visual instructor. Along with my years in middle and high school, I was a member of the 2012 and 2013 with WGI Open Class Finalists Etude Winterguard and the 2013 Drum Corp International Gold Medalists, Carolina Crown, both out of Fort Mill South Carolina.
